Corydon man arrested after wal-mart riots | Beluga

Bedford-A Corydon man was arrested on Friday morning when a Bedford police officer was called to Walmart. It was previously reported that a man was at Walmart. After confronting him on the sidewalk in front of the store, he was rude and rude to the employees. The caller reported that the man may be drunk and returned to the black Ford Mustang.

A police officer spotted the vehicle leaving the parking lot.

The police officer stopped the vehicle on Becky Skillman Road.

The driver of this car is Michael Hutchinson, 63, from Corridon. 

Hutchinson was asked about any conflicts with Wal-Mart employees. Hutchinson told the police officer that he was there to repair the door of the store and showed the police officer the work instructions. At this moment, the second Bedford police officer noticed that there was a Heritage 0.22 caliber revolver in the car, and Hutchinson was detained. 

Hutchinson did not obtain a license for the unloaded gun.

K9 Dusty warned police officers that there were drugs in the car.

During the search of the vehicle, a metal container containing 0.22 caliber ammunition was also in the driver's door pocket. Inside the pill crusher originally in Hutchinson's pocket, the police officer found a plastic bag containing methamphetamine.

Hutchinson was arrested for possession of ice with more than 5 grams of enhancer and possession of a pistol without a license.
